Commonly known as the Yellow velvet beetle, Golden flower longhorn beetle or Golden-haired flower longhorn, this beetle can be found in various parts of Canada, the United States and Europe. Ranging from 10-20 millimeters in length, these beetles are recognizable by their dense coat of golden hairs. In the summer, adult beetles can be seen feeding on flowers, transferring pollen in the process and aiding in pollination.
